The big box retailer known as At Home came to us with a specific request: to build them a website that helped shoppers express their unique styles, while also reinforcing the brand’s core values—namely variety, quality and value. We set out with an analysis of the customer journey over time, where we discovered that décor needs vary with life stages. For instance, mantels change with the seasons, and nurseries transition into tween rooms. While At Home offers endless possibilities for every occasion, it didn’t take us long to realize the broad selection can be overwhelming for some shoppers.
The digital rollout needed to be filled with inspired content that helped At Home’s shoppers browse, organize and easily plan their décor updates. We wanted to give users the confidence to pull a whole room together easily and affordably, without compromising quality. The physical stores were organized by styles for ease-of-use, and our site design would be no exception.
